Set in one of Sydney’s most exclusive neighbourhoods, this private residence pairs refined architecture with a calm, luxurious lighting scheme built almost entirely on DuraGreen luminaires.
The ACME 68 downlights provide the primary layer of soft, uniform illumination, keeping ceilings quiet while revealing the depth and richness of the interior. Carefully controlled optics ensure the home feels luminous but never harsh or overlit.
In key areas, ACME 68 in–out spotlights add focused accents—framing artworks, feature walls, and furniture groupings. The balance between ambient and accent light introduces depth and visual hierarchy, reinforcing the home’s understated sense of luxury.
The MINI‑LINE 48V track system brings flexibility to living and entertaining spaces. Its slim, discreet profile recedes into the architecture, while spot and linear modules can be re‑aimed or repositioned as layouts and artwork change—equally suited to intimate dinners or larger gatherings.
Discreet uplights gently wash vertical surfaces. They visually lift ceilings, enhance textures, and extend the warm, elegant atmosphere from interior to exterior, ensuring the residence feels composed, inviting, and distinctly high‑end at every hour.
A cohesive language of light
Across the project, the consistent use of DuraGreen’s high‑CRI, full‑spectrum light ensures colours remain true and materials appear as intended—from dawn through late evening. Dimmable, finely tuned scenes allow the home to transition effortlessly: bright and uplifting by day, intimate and atmospheric at night.
The collaboration between Lofolighting, Graphio Architects, Stathis Building, and DuraGreenlighting demonstrates how miniature, meticulously detailed luminaires can quietly elevate a space—shaping mood, enhancing materials, and delivering a distinctly contemporary sense of elegance and luxury.
