For Italian designer Giovanni Filardi—raised in Foggia and now based in Turin—inspiration begins with light itself. From the intense southern sun to the softer northern glow, he learned how illumination shapes emotion, proportion, and atmosphere. With AURA, he distils these impressions into a timeless, balanced presence.

Rome’s skyline is defined by the soaring domes of its churches. Aura Orb translates this classical geometry into a sculptural luminaire, with a lamp head crafted from machined alabaster that diffuses light into a soft, natural glow—echoing the way sunlight moves across domes throughout the day.
